Subiect: Filmul urmăreşte câteva zile din viaţa membrilor unei echipe de genişti. După ce unul dintre ei a murit în urma exploziei unei bombe artizanale, grupul a fost completat de sergentul William James (Jeremy Renner), un genist experimentat căruia moartea îi este indiferentă. Acţiunea în sine constă în prezentarea misiunilor acestora. Din nou, nu spun mai mult pentru că această prezentare este menită în primul rând celor ce nu au văzut încă filmul.

Producţie: Scenariul este scris de un jurnalist care a luat parte la misiunile unei echipe de genişti în războiul din Irak.

Filmările au început în luna iulie 2007 în Iordania şi Kuwait, iar pentru a-i asigura autenticitate filmului, niciunul dintre actori nu a beneficiat de aer condiţionat sau de baie privată. De asemenea, Jeremy Renner, a declarat că s-a întâmplat chiar să se tragă asupra lor în timp ce erau pe platoul de filmare din Iordania, unde situaţia este instabilă, asemeni Irak-ului.

Bugetul producţiei a fost unul destul de mic, şi anume 11 milioane de dolari.

Premii şi încasări: The Hurt Locker a avut premiera mondială în cadrul Festivalului de Film de la Veneţia pe data de 4 septembrie 2008. La finalul filmului spectatorii au aplaudat în picioare timp de 10 minute. Aici a câştigat mai multe premii: SIGNIS Award, Arca Cinemagiovani Award for “Best Film Venezia 65″, Human Rights Film Network Award şi “La Navicella”- Venezia Cinema Award.

Numărul premiilor este foarte mare, şi consider că nu are rost să le enumar pe toate însă puteţi citi mai multe dând clic pe acest link.

Un lucru foarte important de menţionat este că acest film este nominalizat la 9 categorii în cadrul decernării premiilor Oscar. După data de 7 martie când are loc festivitatea de premiere voi completa, cu Oscarurile câştigate, dacă este cazul.

În total, încasările peliculei au fost de 16 milioane de dolari.

Părere personală: The Hurt Locker este în opinia mea un film de război foarte bine realizat. La început filmul pare să fie şters, acţiunii lipsindu-i caracterul tipic filmelor de la Hollywood, fără răsturnări de situaţie, fără conflicte majore între personaje (conflicte există dar sunt minore şi se referă doar la instinctul de conservare al soldaţilor). Ceea ce impresionează la filmul acesta este suspansul în care te ţine de la început până la sfârşit. De fiecare dată când William James dezamorsează o bombă în minte îţi încolţeşte ideea: “să vezi că bubuie”… “de data asta bubuie”. Modul în care este filmat, cu camera în mâna, îţi dă o senzaţie  de real, de reportaj, ca şi cum totul s-ar desfăşura în timp ce tu priveşti. Fiecare scenă te face să te simţi ca şi cum ai fi acolo, iar tensiunea personajelor îţi este transmisă în fiecare moment. Recomand acest film oricui vrea să vadă un film de calitate recunoscută mondial . Garantez că nu o să vă pară rău!

Decernarea premiilor va avea loc pe data de 7 martie la Los Angeles.

Subiect: Pfff, mult de zis. Nu ştiu cum să încep. O să încerc să fiu la obiect… Filmul acesta urmăreşte povestea, dacă îi putem spune aşa, a doi asasini ai mafiei, a unui boxer plătit să piardă un meci, a soţiei unui gangster şi a unui cuplu de hoţi. Etapele poveştii sunt amestecate din punct de vedere cronologic şi necesită multă atenţie din partea spectatorului pentru a putea fi înţeleasă. Acţiunea nu e aşa de simplă cum sună în scurta mea descriere dar pentru mai mult decât atât va trebui să-l urmăriţi. Orice cuvânt în plus din partea mea v-ar strica plăcerea vizionării.

Producţie: Unul dintre cele mai importante aspecte referitoare la Pulp Fiction este distribuţia, extrem de bogată în nume mari ale Hollywood-ului:

Bugetul filmului a fost de 8,5 milioane de dolari, crearea restaurantului “Jack Rabbit Slim`s” costând 150.000 de dolari (cea mai mare sumă cheltuită pentru un singur lucru).

Premii şi încasări: Premiera peliculei a avut loc la festivalul de la Cannes unde a câştigat premiul Palme d`Or. Numărul mare de premii mă forţează să recurg la o lungă enumeraţie: Best Original Screenplay – Academy Awards, Best Supporting Actor ( Samuel L. Jackson) şi Best Original Screenplay – BAFTA Awards, Best Screenplay – Golden Globe Awards, Best Film, Best Director şi Best Screenplay – National Society of Film Critics.

Nominalizările sunt în număr prea mare aşa că renunţ să le mai scriu…

Încasările s-au ridicat la 107 milioane de dolari în SUA şi 212 milioane per total… investiţia fiind, în caz că aţi uitat deja, de 8,5 milioane. Mie, cel puţin, îmi miroase a profit…muult profit.

Părere personală: Superb! Pulp Fiction este unul dintre puţinele filme care nu te lasă să ghiceşti ce se va întâmpla în clipele următoare. Toate scenele sunt făcute să te ţină cu ochii lipiţi de ecran ( le-aş enumera, dar poate sunt dintre voi care nu l-aţi văzut). De asemenea, dialogurile geniale îţi arată partea umană a criminalilor care discută şi chiar bârfesc, aş putea spune asemenea oamenilor normali, de rând. Una dintre replicile memorabile este aceea a lui Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson)care citează un pasaj din Biblie înainte de a-şi ucide ţinta:

“The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who in the name of charity and goodwill shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee” .

Nu am pomenit până acum de latura comică a filmului, şi nici acum nu o să zic mare lucru, decât că aveţi asigurată o… mică portie de râs.

Dacă l-aţi vazut deja, vă aştep cu păreri la secţiunea comentarii. Dacă nu l-aţi văzut, eu zic să nu mai pierdeţi vremea şi să faceţi rost urgent de el…după care…tot la comentarii vă astept .

Ca o încheiere, aş zice că pe Terra există doar două tipuri de oameni: cei care sunt fani Pulp Fiction, şi cei care nu l-au văzut încă.

Subiect: Robert Neville (Will Smith), un cercetator al armatei SUA modifică un virus şi descoperă leacul pentru pentru cancer. După trei ani însă, virusul suferă o mutaţie neaşteptată şi se răspândeşte pe tot globul luând vieţile a 90% dintre locuitorii Terrei. Din cei 600 de milioane de oameni rămaşi, 12 milioane sunt genetic imuni la virus, iar restul se transformă într-un soi de creaturi palide, fără păr care îi vâneaza pe cei sănătoşi. Înainte de răspândirea virusului, New York-ul este evacuat de urgenţă, iar în haosul creat Neville îşi pierde soţia şi fiica într-un accident de elicopter. El este singurul om care rămâne în oraş, şi încearcă să descopere antidotul care ar putea salva rasa umană.

Producţie: Filmările pentru acest film au început pe data de 23 septembrie 2006. Unele străzi principale din New York au fost închise circulaţiei pentru filmarea unor scene, fapt ce a atras nemulţumirea cetăţenilor metropolei. Referitor la acest episod Will Smith a afirmat:

“I don’t think anyone’s going to be able to do that in New York again any time soon. People were not happy. That’s the most middle fingers I’ve ever gotten in my career.”

Evacuarea oraşului a fost cea mai scumpă scenă filmată vreodată în New York, costurile ridicându-se la 5 milioane de dolari. Aceasta a presupus prezenţa a 250 de membri ai echipei de filmare, a 1000 de figuranţi şi a câtorva vehicule militare Humvee timp de 6 nopţi de ianuarie pe Brooklyn Bridge.

Folosind efecte speciale generate pe computer, regizorul a reuşit să prezinte un New York părăsit în grabă, în care natura şi-a intrat în drepturi. Toate elementele sunt la locul lor, exceptând oamenii. Maşinile sunt acoperite cu un strat gros de praf, iarba a crescut prin crăpăturile apărute în asfalt şi în trotuare iar animalele sălbatice aleargă libere printre zgârie-nori.

Premii şi încasări: Will Smith a câştigat pentru prestaţia sa: “Saturn Award for Best Actor” şi “MTV Movie Award for Best Male Performance”.

I Am Legend a fost nominalizat la patru categorii în cadrul “Visual Effects Society Awards”, şi nu numai.

Bugetul alocat filmului a fost de 150.000.000 de dolari, încasările ridicându-se la 256,393,010 de dolari în America de Nord şi 584,015,483 de dolari în total, pe glob.

Pentru rolul său, Will Smith a primit suma de 25 de milioane de dolari.

Părere personală: Efectele speciale din I Am Legend sunt extraordinare. Este incredibil să vezi unul dintre cele mai mari oraşe din lume, pustiu. Degradarea clădirilor şi a şoselelor nu lasă impresia de efect special, iar prezenţa animalelor sălbatice în scenele de început te fac să te întrebi dacă New York-ul chiar este locuit în viaţa reală. Bugetul mare se observă, întrucât  filmul nu îţi lasă în niciun moment senzaţia de science-fiction ieftin. Fiecare detaliu te uimeşte iar unele scene te ţin cu sufletul la gură, bineînţeles, doar dacă te laşi absorbit de acţiune.

Fiind unul dintre preferatele mele, îl recomand oricui vrea să vadă un film bun, cu menţiunea că acesta este unul din acele filme pe care îl urmăreşti singur, pe întuneric, cu sonorul la un nivel cât mai mare, detaşat de viaţa cotidiană…pentru senzaţii garantate!

Pentru păreri referitoare la I Am Legend, lasă un comentariu .

Subiect: Alonzo Harris, un poliţist experimentat, decorat pentru meritele sale în LAPD, este desemnat să-l evalueze pe tânărul Jake Hoyt proaspăt membru al departamentului anti-drog. În cele 24 de ore în care se desfăşoară acţiunea Hoyt întâmpină multe probleme şi are dificultăţi în a înţelege stilul de lucru al colegului său.

Producţie: Pentru ca filmul să fie cât mai realist, Fuqua a filmat în unele dintre cele mai periculoase zone din Los Angeles,  cu permisiunea neoficială a găştilor de cartier. Denzel Washington, Ethan Hawke şi alti actori din distribuţie s-au întâlnit şi au discutat cu poliţişti sub acoperire, dealeri şi membri ai unor găşti pentru a-şi putea întelege mai bine rolurile.

Cafeneaua de la începutul filmului, Quality Cafe, apare în mai multe producţii de la Hollywood: Se7en, Catch Me If  You Can, Gone In 60 Seconds, Old School şi Ghost World.

Premii şi încasări: Ca răsplată pentru interpretarea impecabilă a rolului său Denzel Washington a câştigat multe premii, cel mai important fiind Oscarul pentru cel mai bun actor în rol principal. Ethan Hawke a fost nominalizat pentru Oscar la categoria “Cel mai bun actor în rol secundar”.

Filmul a fost lansat în cinematografe pe data de 5 octombrie 2001 şi a fost un succes imediat ajungând direct pe pozitia întâi în box office. Bugetul a fost de 45 milioane de dolari iar încasările s-au ridicat la  76.631.907 de dolari în SUA şi la 104.876.233 dolari în total.

Părere personală: Acesta este unul dintre filmele mele preferate, deoarece m-a impresionat prin senzaţia de real dată de fiecare detaliu. Reprezentaţia dată de Denzel Washington este fascinantă, fiind greu pentru oricine să nu-l includă în lista personală de actori preferaţi după vizionarea acestui film.

Dialogurile dintre cei doi poliţişti sunt absolut geniale, replicile lui Alonzo Harris urmând să vi se imprime în memorie drept cele mai bune auzite vreodată. Ex:   ” They built jails because of me. Judges have handed out over fifteen thousand man years of  incarceration time based on my investigation.”

Referitor la personajul pe care l-a interpretat, Washington afirmă:

“I think in some ways he’s done his job too well. He’s learned how to manipulate, how to push  the line further and further, and, in the process, he’s become more hard-core than some of the guys he’s chasing.”

Fiind lansat din 2001, este foarte probabil să fi văzut filmul, dar dacă nu l-aţi văzut…nu ştiţi ce aţi pierdut!

Acesta film este din punctul meu de vedere unul dintre cele mai bune făcute vreodată, şi câştigă fără probleme titlul de “filmul meu preferat”.

La secţiunea comentarii vă puteţi exprima propriile păreri referitoare la “Training Day”.

Pentru început, vă ofer spre vizionare ( vă place limbajul meu pretenţios, nu?) un scurt clip marca Top Gear.

Acestea fiind spuse… Pa!
